I am focusing my efforts this academic year on writing a monograph entitled The Origins of Enchantment: How Religions Compete, which is under contract to Princeton University Press. The economics of religious competition is one major strand of my research in the last few years. Others are the economics of gender, behavioural decision making (especially the determinants of social trust) and the economics of platforms.
